Ukrainian clothes and the majority of dress of many Slavonic peoples have much in common. Ukrainian clothes contain shirt and wool pants. One dressed shirt on body and it was used usually as outerwear.

Trousers portyanytsi men fixed with strap on the body – people wore also a buckle on it. Ukrainian trousers, especially the Cossacks wide trousers, had a special feature – very large width. The pants were created using cloth or canvas, people embroided it with yellow or green threads.
